Local newspaper delivery

A straightforward service for Normandy

Normandy is a spread-out Surrey village with a mixture of established residential pockets and rural roads between Guildford and Aldershot. Rather than treating the whole village as one simple delivery zone, SL News checks the exact address and chosen delivery days before confirming the route.

Managing your delivery is simple, whether you need a holiday pause, a newspaper change, help after a missed delivery or direct support from our team. For confirmed holiday pauses, delivery charges are paused for the agreed holiday period.

Local character & history

A rural parish made up of several communities

Normandy sits just north of the Hog's Back in western Surrey. The parish includes Wyke, Christmas Pie, Willey Green, Pinewood and Flexford, and Normandy Parish Council describes the area as largely rural despite its road and rail links to Guildford and Aldershot. That scattered pattern of lanes, woodland and small communities is one reason SL News confirms the full delivery address rather than relying on the village name alone.
